Jane James

Coach

Jane is a pioneer for nowhere education, and holds a lifelong passion for transforming educational structures and processes to release the creative potential of our children and young people. Originally a secondary school teacher, Jane has worked in all sectors of education including early years and universities, and has served as a school governor for more than twenty years. She has worked in the UK and around the world with teachers and leaders, and is writing a book to help parents support their children using innovative, creative and systemic approaches.

Jane is also a creative-catalyst in nowhere, developing offers, including coaching, to bring the nowhere practice to a wider audience. As a Business Partner at Bristol Business School, Jane works in leadership development, and also runs action-learning programmes principally within the UK public sector. She is a qualified leadership and executive coach, and trains and supervises other coaches as well as contributing to research and writing, most recently on governorship.
